On Monday 3rd November 2025 PropelHer’s Book Club discussed Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill.

 

In this summary of Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, I’ll be briefly summarising the book to help you to make a decision about whether you should buy a copy of the book for yourself.

 

Think and Grow Rich is split into an introduction and 14 chapters.

 

In the introduction Napoleon is introducing the  idea of how powerful an individual;s thoughts are and how they can attract success. He shars the story of Edwin C Barrel and the desire he had to work with Edison. 

 

The next 13 chapters walk you through his 13 steps to success. Some of the steps are desire, autosuggestions, specialised knowledge and persistence. For each of the steps the chapter will go into detail about how the step is important, share stories of others and then give advice on how you can apply the tip. 

 

The book also shares Napoleon’s six practical steps to riches which includes deciding the exact amount of money you want, being clear on what you are willing to do for the money and having a clear deadline. 

 

The book then ends with Chapter 15 (How to Outwit the Six Ghosts of Fear) where Napoleon talkes about the main six fears people need to overcome. They are poverty, criticism, ill health, loss of love, old age and death.
