Burnout is broken up into 3 parts

Introduction
Part I: What You Take with You
Part II: The Real Enemy
Part III: Wax On, Wax Off

Part I: What You Take with You goes into detail about what stress is, how it impacts your body and how vital it is that you complete the stress cycle. In this section of the book you learn about how to separate stress from stressors. You are given tips on how to deal with stress and how to deal with stressors. Finally this chapter looks at the importance of having a meaning and having a connection to something larger.

In Part II: The Real Enemy the focus is on the patriarchy and how women are playing in a rigged game. It talks about learned helplessness and gaslighting, and what you can do in your own way to smash the patriarchy. This part of the book also delves into the ‘Bikini Industrial Complex’, which is where women are being shown an unachievable aspirational ideal in order for companies to profit. It looks at the unhealthy obsession with thinness and gives you strategies to love your body more exactly as it is.

Finally in Part III: Wax On, Wax Off the book focuses on connection and how important it is to have good relationships with other human beings. The reader is introduced to the bubble of love concept and given clear signs to look out for, which indicate that recharging, through connection, is required. This section also talks about the importance of rest, and rest beyond just sleeping. Finally the section ends with some advice on how to befriend your madwoman, heal and grow mighty.
